Keith Dornan
During a high-profile, nationally televised trial, CourtTv said Keith Dornan was fair, poised, and looked like Thor.” While the comparison to the Norse God was likely referencing the hair, Keith – like Thor – is honorable, noble, and brave.
Keith’s approach to practicing law is informed by his extensive real-world experience. At various times, Keith has worked in the U.S. and abroad as an Emergency Medical Technician, teacher, outdoor education instructor, wilderness adventure guide, adventure program developer, elementary sports coach, bartender, server, and more! That range of experiences allows Keith to relate and empathize with clients from all walks of life.
Keith’s practice is focused on criminal law and complex litigation. He strives to provide competent and compassionate representation with exceptional attention to detail. Keith understands the incredible trust his clients place in him and is committed to a holistic approach as he guides them through the legal process.
Keith is the proud son of one of our founding partners, Stuart Dornan. Beginning in High School, Keith started working at Dornan Law Team as a law clerk, focusing on criminal trial preparation. He gained years of valuable experience before he ever set foot in a law school classroom, and was heavily involved in trials involving charges such as human trafficking, prisoner rights, child abuse, and sexual assault.
As a student at Seattle University School of Law, Keith focused on immigration and American Indian Law. He is a strong advocate for immigrant rights with extensive experience volunteering for immigrant advocacy groups in the State of Washington. As a result of years living abroad in Latin America, Keith is also fluent in Spanish. Keith was a proud member of the American Indian Law Journal, where he is a published author.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
Jason Troia is the best lawyer I have ever had. I was facing up to 50 years for some serious charges, and Mr. Troia was able to get my case completely dismissed within a matter of a couple months. He was very straightforward and honest up front and he was able to accomplish exactly what he said.
