Jason Wendling

Jason N. Wendling originally comes from the City of Big Shoulders and brings the blue-collar work ethic instilled in him by his South Chicago family to every client matter. Rooted in the values of hard work, loyalty, and service, Jason is committed to helping individuals and families navigate difficult legal challenges with confidence and compassion.

Growing up, Jason accompanied his father to mechanic shops, strike lines, and union halls throughout the Chicagoland area. These experiences taught Jason an enduring lesson: always stand up for those who need help. Jason moved to Nebraska to pursue his education and, ultimately, chose to make Nebraska his home. In large part, that decision was shaped by his two years serving as a Legislative Page at the Nebraska Unicameral. During that time, Jason gained firsthand insight into the challenges Nebraska families face and the ways Nebraska legislators sought to address those challenges. Through that experience, Jason discovered his passion for problem-solving and advocating for others.

Drawing on these experiences, Jason is committed to the service of others through his legal practice and approaches each matter guided by the Jesuit principle of Cura Personalis—Care for the Whole Person. Jason strives not only to address clients’ legal needs, but also to provide a space where clients can be heard, understood, and respected throughout the legal process.

Jason focuses his legal practice on personal injury law, workers’ compensation, labor and employment law, lemon law, and appellate advocacy. Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Natale, cheering on Husker and Chicago sports teams, and reading classical literature.
